Popular in many cities, Ride the Ducks came to Philadelphia just
a few years ago and has been a huge hit ever since.
Visitors enjoy a tour of the city in the seats of a converted
World War II amphibious vehicle, with 20 minutes of the 80
minute tour enjoyed from the river.
Ride the
Ducks is a great way to preview the city and the tour helps visitors
decide which sites they'd most like to visit after their Duck Tour. |
Highlights of the Philly tour include a ride past Independence Hall,
the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross's House, the Vietnam War Memorial, and
the riverfront area. Entertaining guides know everything there is to
know about Philadelphia historic sites and don't hesitate to infuse
a lot of humor along the way. Peppy music keeps visitors awake and
hopping!
Each Ride the Ducks traveler will also receive the company's Wacky
Quacker, a duck-bill-shaped noisemaker that tourists are encouraged
to use during their trip. It's noisy but lots of fun and the kids
will love the opportunity to quack at passers-by while learning
about Philadelphia's rich history.
Use Philadelphia Kids and make Philadelphia fun for the kids...and you!
