The trolley is to Philadelphia what the
cable car is to San Francisco, so visitors may want to
climb aboard an historic Victorian trolley to experience
the sights and sounds of this wonderful city.
Philadelphia Trolley Works offers daily city tours aboard their
beautiful open air trolleys to visitors who hope to get a good
overview of the city before adding specific attractions to their
itinerary.

|
Visitors may choose a 90-minute fully-guided City Tour, narrated
by informative guides who are well-versed in the city's past and
present.
Purchasing an all-day pass will give visitors the privilege of
disembarking at any of the trolley's 18 stops, such as
Independence Hall, most of Philadelphia's museums and the
waterfront, and climbing back aboard when its time to visit a
new location.
The trolleys run every day
except Christmas and New Year's Day and seats are filled on a
first-come, first-served basis. |
Philadelphia tourists may also enjoy a jaunt to picturesque
Fairmount Park, the largest city park-system in the world.
Highlights of this tour include the zoo, the art museum, Boathouse
Row, and Fairmount Park's seven historic homes, including guided
tours of two of those homes when available.
Use Philadelphia Kids and make Philadelphia fun for the kids...and you!
