The creators of this tour insist that Philadelphia is the most-haunted city in the United States. 

 

And they set out to prove that on their nightly jaunts through the Independence National Historic Park area and Society Hill, one of Philadelphia's oldest neighborhoods by the river front.

 

Visitors use candlelight to guide them through this most unique look at our American heritage.

 

On this 75-minute tour, lovers of the

paranormal will hear about ancient burial grounds, plague, traitors, and heroes and learn which early Colonists may just may still be hanging around the homes, streets, and historic sites of the City of Brotherly Love.

Not terribly spooky but certainly thought-provoking, the tour is appropriate for all ages except maybe those who are easily frightened. Special children's rates are available for the tours.
