Cherry Hill Mall is the first
enclosed shopping center on the east coast. The expansive Cherry
Hill Mall was built in 1961 and continues to grow to serve its customer
base.
The mall is located in South
Jersey, has always been popular with Philadelphia residents and
is easily accessible from the Tacony-Palmyra or Betsy Ross Bridges
that cross the Delaware River.

Having undergone
a recent facelift, the Cherry Hill Mall is a sparkling example
of shopping at its best and its huge size means there's
something for everyone, regardless of taste or budget.
The Cherry Hill Mall
recently added "Bistro Row," a rather upscale food court
area where visitors can enjoy a great meal in a relatively
short amount of time.
The mall is anchored by Strawbridge's,
Macy's, and JC Penney and hosts an additional 150 stores as well.

Strangely enough, the town
in which this mall is situated was actually named after the mall
itself, which attracted busloads of visitors when it opened in the
1960s. As a matter of fact, it was such a novelty that the local
high school held its proms there for years!
