Cost: Adults $13.50, Seniors, Veterans, Students, $9, Kids under 6 FREE

The Battleship New Jersey in Philadelphia area, the most decorated battleship in history, is now a floating museum on the Delaware River in Camden, New Jersey. Located just across the river from Center City Philadelphia, the battleship has been attracting thousands of visitors since it

arrived from Bremerton, Washington on Veterans Day in 1999.

Visitors will be treated to a 2-hour tour of this "Iowa-class" ship, one of the largest ever built.

The New Jersey fought in both World War II and the Vietnam War and was commissioned again in 1982 as part of President Reagan's 600 ship Navy.

It was decommissioned for good in 1991 and arrived in Philadelphia, where it was built, 8 years later.

For those who are unable to climb the narrow stairs of the Battleship New Jersey for the full tour, a fully air-conditioned lower level viewing area presents a video tour of the ship, featuring the same highlights as on the guided tour.
