The Lights of Liberty is most exhilarating and original way to experience the events of the American Revolution. The Lights of Liberty Show has been entertaining and educating Philadelphia visitors since1998. This is the first ambulatory sight and sound show of its kind in the world and audiences are continuously wowed by the presentation.

The audience moves at a leisurely pace throughout the Independence National Historic Park, stopping at each building to view magnificent hand-painted images that are projected 50 feet up onto the buildings where these historic events actually happened. Where better to learn about the struggle for independence than on the very grounds where the battle was fought.

You'll hear the stirring words of the forefathers and the accompanying music of the Philadelphia Orchestra on custom-designed 3-D headsets that surround you with sound. Children can also tune into the "Children's Channel" which explains the story in language they'll understand. Narration is also available in Spanish, Japanese, German, and Italian. It took nearly five years to design this spectacular multi-media show and the results were well worth it.
