You really CAN smell the chocolate as you drive into the city known as ChocolateTown USA! A trip to Hershey, PA is a delight for visitors of all ages. From the picturesque Hershey Kiss-shaped lampposts (some wrapped, some not!) to the Chocolate World tour and the Hersheypark Amusement Park, there's so much to do in this sweet-smelling town.

Though guests haven't been able to tour the real chocolate factory since the 1970s, Hershey has put together a delightful presentation about how their wonderful candies and other products are made. Visitors climb aboard moving cars that take them from the harvesting process in fields of cacao beans through the actual factory techniques it takes to make a Hershey bar.

You'll even go through the oven! Chocolate World shares a parking lot with Hersheypark but is a free attraction and doesn't require park admission. Hersheypark itself is clean and family-friendly, crowds are well-controlled, and the variety of rides makes it appropriate for all ages.

Don't forget to ride to the top of the "kiss" tower for a good view of the park and the town. Nearby Hershey Gardens are also stunning as is the majestic Hershey Hotel, where visitors can indulge in an all-chocolate meal or even receive a chocolate spa treatment!
