Location: Longwood Gardens

The Longwood Gardens erupts with light, color, music, and holiday cheer beginning November 24 and lasting throughout the holiday season. The heated conservatory there is filled with elegantly decorated trees created with thousands of poinsettias, amaryllis, begonias, narcissus, and other holiday plants. Evening strolling carolers, organ sing-a-longs, and choral concerts give the new Organ Museum a festive holiday air.

Outside, hundreds of thousands of lights transform the Gardens‘ grounds into a winter wonderland. Amidst these displays, the open-air fountains dance to holiday music and colored lights each half hour.

The East Conservatory boasts the tallest indoor tree in the display. The twenty-five foot Douglas fir is elegantly decorated with silver Helichrysum and is but one of the festive trees adorning the facility.

This year, combine a little horticulture with your holiday plans and visit this spectacular display of holiday lights, music, and vibrantly colored plants. It‘s an enjoyable excursion for visitors of all ages - fun, festive, and educational.
